Imagined feelings and needs narrative:
Malcolm Turnbull
While its possible Mr Turnbull is feeling some excitement and having needs for play met by the situation discussed in this article I imagine it more likely that he may be feeling afraid, annoyed, and sad because needs for cooperation, acceptance, support, and understanding are not being met sufficiently.
The Rudd Government
This is not an individual identify so I'll stick to just the current Prime Minister, Mr Rudd. Mr Rudd, I imagine, may be feeling some exhilaration due to needs for play that might be met by the only two outcomes possible for him. Either the Liberal party assists in passing the Governments legislation or the opposition party further attacks itself. Imagining Mr Rudd feels strongly about the ETS and its intended outcomes he may be feeling afraid and alarmed because needs for safety, and cooperation may not be met.
Tony Abbott
Mr Abbott is rumoured to be a possible successor to Mr Turnbull as party leader. I imagine he may be feeling some exhilaration as he imagines needs for growth and change being met.
